Introducing the Detroit Sofa Co.

Detroit is a city of hard workers. We’re loyal, flexible and we don’t give up. At Art Van Furniture, we wanted to celebrate those qualities we see in our community with a new line of furniture – and we’re proud to announce the launch of the Detroit Sofa Co.

Designed around strength, flexibility and durability, you’ll find a line of sofas that offer a different “ride.” The proportions are bigger, with wide and deep lines. And just like our cars, the furniture is all American made. In fact, for the first time the product and fabrics have all been handcrafted in the USA.

The Choice is Yours

Detroit Sofa Co. includes three different sofa collections in four different sizes, as well as three sectional collections. The sofas are available as sectionals and sectionals are available as sofas.

We put you in the driver’s seat; custom-order your style, body fabric and accent fabric at no extra charge. Choose from 28 body fabrics that feature beautiful woven textures in classic colors such as beige, taupe and grey. Then add personality by adding throw pillows or side chairs that are available in 34 accent fabrics.

We Focused on Quality

Detroit Sofa Co. products are created with premium construction. Hardwood frames makes then strong and stable. Heavy gauge sinuous spring construction offers support and durability. And the cushions are made of polyurethane foam wrapped in gel infused memory foam for superior comfort, support and durability.

The sofas and sectionals are also comfortable, with 10-inch thick cushions and padding on all four sides. That means there aren’t any hard edges so fabric lasts longer. Detroit Sofa Co. is also made of earth-friendly materials, which leaves a positive environmental impact.
